Ever wanted to send your Æternal Legends characters up against a vampire lord, a pack of werewolves, or a lich-lord and his zombie army?

Maybe you want a little more urban fantasy in your Æternal Legends game, with Clades for vampire and werewolf characters.

Then you want Touched by Darkness. A 22-page PDF supplement covering just that. And best of all, it's entirely free.

The download contains a screen-ready PDF, a print-ready PDF, and a DRM-free epub file for iPad, Nook, and all manner of e-readers.

Get it from here!

I've got an honest question for those of you with Æternal Legends:

What would you change, were you to release a "1.5 edition"—no sweeping changes, but tidying up what's already there?

There's no right or wrong answers, I'm just curious. Personally, I'd like to go back and explicitly state the metaphysical bits that I only realised after playing the game several times. I've also seen a few places where I want to punch my younger self for crap writing. Oh, and I'd put in worked examples of communities, like the Appendix II of nVampire, nWerewolf, and such.

But what would you go for?

Because we like you, we've dropped the print price to $21 (£14.95).

At the same time, the PDF has gone from $11 to $5.95 (£4). This brings our pricing through RPGnow and Lulu in line with the IPR bundle prices, modulo exchange rates.

Tell everyone you know!

Æternal Legends is free in PDF and cheap in print. If you get the free PDF, you get $11 off (nearly £8) the print edition from Lulu.

Both of these offers end Monday. I'd really appreciate if you could mention this to friends and fellow-gamers, hopefully to get some more people playing the game! If people are on the fence, the following links might help bring them around.
And of course mention this community. Let's see if we can't get some conversation going.

Spheres is in the can, so hopefully that'll be out soon. My latest post over on Mobunited.com drops some hints as to what's in there; I'll drop the full list of contents here soon.

http://www.mobunited.com/mobunitedmedia/2009/08/05/aeternal-legends-free-and-cheap-in-print-over-gen-con/

Æternal Legends is free until the end of GenCon. That is, you get the PDF for ZERO of your earth-monies. And if you download it, you can get the print edition for cheap!

This offer ends when GenCon ends. So tell your gaming group, your friends, people you see at your FLGS... tell everyone. Please. Further information's at the link above.

Just a note that I've started blogging abut Æternal Legends over at Mob United Media's main site. If you want to follow my ramblings without leaving Livejournal, friend [info]mobunited.

I'm not neglecting the community here, but MUM's site is a great place for me to get on my soapbox for a while, whereas the Livejournal is better for fostering discussion.

I'm hard at work on the second Æternal Legends supplement: a book all about Spheres and how to hack them. That'll go alongside Fight Like a Legend as a PDF supplement.

Once the Spheres book is finished, I'm looking to crack on with further books, really amping up support for the game.

So, this is what I'm currently thinking of:
  • Clades: Pretty much what it says on the tin, a book on the Clades (both light and dark) including additional options and an expanded look each Clade.
  • Setting/Adventure: A complement to the free downloadable adventure, a setting book covering both an area in the Unaware world, any linked Interstices, the Aware world, and an adventure in the location.
  • Magic & Enchantment: Everything you've ever wanted to know about magic and enchantment but were afraid to ask, including variant magic systems and a raft of new spells.
  • Dark Lords: The Big Bads. The roadblocks on the path to Enlightenment. The kind of bastard who thinks nothing of loosing an elder dragon in New York City and watching the chaos.
So, what do you think? What do you want to see next? What would help out in your games?

So, the website's live.

What do you think? Is there anything you'd expect to see that's not there?

It took me long enough, but I've finally set up a community for Æternal Legends!

This goes hand in hand with a general revamp of my web presence, including a website.

Sound off and start discussing!
